He knows you are evil, because a voice in his head told him so.
Go on, give religious people more power in society. See what they will do.
I am a Christian, and yes, I agree about the objection to the suggestion of this “pastor”. It is un-American and against the very principles on which the Mayflower pilgrims left England: the freedom to worship God according to the dictates of their conscience.
Atheism is as much a religion as Christianity is.
True Christians follow Christ, true atheists follow their intelligence.
As often said: it takes faith to not believe in the existence of God, just as it takes faith to believe in the existence of God.
Thanks for commenting. I think there’s a logical error in your reasoning though.
Atheism is not a religion or faith. Whoever told you that was telling a lie.
Disbelief in God (atheism) is not the same as rejection of God (antitheism). Disbelief simply means “I suspend judgment and won’t believe unless proper evidence is found.”
So as an atheist I don’t believe in God for the same reason I don’t believe in Zeus or Allah or fairies. If evidence showed up for either of those, I’d believe in it. Pretty simple.
It gets worse though. My friend, I’m afraid I have to point out that you are an anti-theist. You reject Shiva, Allah, Zeus, Odin, and thousands (literally) of gods other people believe in.
Atheists are open for belief in ANYTHING, if evidence shows up. So logically, atheists are more open to the existence of gods than Christians are.
